LUNCH + DINNER

07h45: You will be collected from your hotel in Hanoi Quarter to take the bus via Hai Phong highway to Beo port, Cat Ba island. Transfer by tender to the boat.

12h15: Welcome to our boat! Check in your cabin, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise brief and safety instruction by our local guide. The boat will cruise around Cai Beo – one of the most ancient & largest floating villages in Vietnam where you can see the daily life activities of the local-fisherman.

12h30: We have lunch before continuing our journey via the islets. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island – Coc Ngoi islet – through Cua Dong to Ba Trai Dao area.

14h30: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. You can start your journey to visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by kayaking which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage, enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.

15h30: Say goodbye to Cat Ba Langur, our boat tour keep heading futher to the less rouristic part of Ha Long bay where you hardly see other boats around.

16:45: Enjoy watching the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam sping-rolls. In the early evening the boat has it’s Happy Hour deal.

19h00: Anchor at calm & quite place where is far away from the other big cruises for diner & overnight

21h00: Do squid fishing or do kayayking to see plankton at night (optional)

BREAKFAST + LUNCH

07h:00: Enjoy a breakfast in the delighted and peaceful beauty of the bay.

08:30 : Transfer to a tender to visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island and hop on a bicycle ride (electric car also available) through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a village nestled in a valley deep in a national park. Meet, visit a traditional house, and greet local inhabitants doing their daily work, see their homes and the village school. Return to boat for check-out procedures.

It is reccommended to do 3 Days/2 Night Cruise as you can explore more non-touristry places on Ha Long Bay
If you want to visit Ninh Binh afterward, it is reccommended to book combined Cat Ba - Ninh Binh 3 days/2 nights tour instead

In case of typhoon that the boat is not allowed to go out, we offer full refund for all the tours that have not started; Or the tour can be moved to other dates without extra charge if our boats are available and your time permits
Partial refund of difference will be applied for the tours that are on the way

10% charge if cancellation received from 10 days - 15 days prior to the deparure date
50% charge if cancellation received from 4 days - 9 days prior to the departure date
100% charge if cancellation receivd less than 72 hours prior to the departure dat or No Show

Amazing experience of the Halong Bay without the crowds View on TripAdvisor Very kind and attentive staff on our private boat (family of 2 adults and 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 3.5). The views were breathtaking, we went kayaking in grottos and cycling to a small village called Viet Ha. Meals were very good and varied, the bedding is confortable. Our guide, Tien, was super nice, and the cook and boat captain were adorable, so thoughtful!

What can I say... Everything was PERFECT!!!
The boat was clean and comfy;
the guide was very interesting, chatty and informative;
the captain and the cook were discreet and very nice;
the food was excellent;
the timing was perfect;
the transfers went smoothly;
the activities were interesting and fun;
the weather was very nice;
and Halong Bay was simply BREATHTAKING.

I've talked about this company to all my friends and I'll keep their email address preciously in case I go back to Vietnam and want to visit Halong Bay again.

The Best Ha Long Bay tour ever! View on TripAdvisor We chose to book the 3 days 2 nights cruise to Halong Bay area with 1 nights on the boat and 1 night on Cat Ba Island in order to see some of the less crowded areas and spend more of this portion of our trip on site not just in transit. As this was our first trip to Vietnam, we contacted a few companies to help us arrange the details including getting to Cat Ba from Hanoi and then on to Ninh Binh afterwards. We chose Cat Ba Du Ky Travel because they tailored a trip for our specific needs. We were picked up at our hotel driven to Ben Beo. Once onboard our guide Tien and the crew were professional as well as helpful and friendly. Meals were some of the best we had over the course of our two week trip to Vietnam. We were able to get to less visited areas and had access to quieter anchorages at night. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a personalized vacation.
