8.00 AM : Get picked up at your hotel in Cat Ba town or at our Cat Ba Du Ky Travel Office ( No 39, Nui Ngoc Street), then drive to Cat Ba National Park Entrance
8.30 – 12.00: Do around 3,5 -4.00 hours trekking up and down through the tropical forests and green valleys. This area is really an “off the beaten track” where you hardly see other tourists. Enjoy bird-watching, butter-fly flying, squirrel – dancing or even catching Cat Ba Langur if you are really lucky.

12.00 - 13.30: Challenge your feet passing May Bau & Ang Phay - One of the highest peaks on Cat Ba Island. Stop for picnic lunch at Frog-lake.
13.30 - 14.30: Stop at a small stream at the end of the village and enjoy a peaceful moment by dropping your feet under the water of the cool stream. The small fish will help you massage your feet and legs.

15.00 PM: Stroll around the village to meet & observe the local people do farming and experience their daily life.
15.30 PM: Check in the homestay. Relax & Explore the village by yourself.
19.00 PM: Enjoy dinner.
20.00 PM: Get transfered to Lan Ha Bay for kayaking to see Plankton at night. (optional)

9.00 AM: Get on the boat & set off our Lan Ha Bay - Ha Long Bay 1 day boat tour
9.30 AM: Cross the border between Lan Ha bay & Ha Long bay, we are heading to the unique part of Ha Long Bay where you can admire the amazing landscapes or stunning shapes like: Candle rock, Seal Islet, Cock fighting Island, King Kong Island, Frog-rock, etc….
10.30 AM: Anchor the boat near one of the most secluded beaches at Ba Trai Dao area ( Three Peaches) that be away from the other group to do swimming & snorkling ( if the tide permit).

11.30: Enjoy lunch on boat ( Vegerarian &vegan food are also catered upon request)
12.30 PM: After luch time, the boat will move to Hang Ca area for kayaking. Here you will do kayaking through 3 different stalactite caves: Dark cave, Bat cave & Bright cave to explore the hidden & peaceful lagoon. If lucky, you can occasionally catch monkey-jumping or Catba Langur – the white headed dangered monkey.
13.30 PM: Say goodbye to Cat Ba Langur, our boat tour keep heading futher to the less rouristic part of Ha Long bay where you hardly see other boats around.

14.30 PM: Relax yourself on sundeck while routing back to Lan Ha Bay area. Anchor at one of the most stunning beaches for last swimming.
15.30 PM: Enjoy sunset party with Vietnamese tea or coffee & local fresh-fruit while cruising back to Beo habour.

15.45 PM: Say farewell to boat crew. Get transfered back to Cat Ba town.
16.00 PM: Get dropped off at your hotel in Cat Ba town or take trasfer back to Hanoi/Hải Phong/ Ninh Binh. Tour ends.

The best time is from April to November, when the weather is warm and ideal for outdoor adventures. Spring and autumn offer the most comfortable temperatures for trekking and kayaking.
10. What if it rains?
In case of light rain, the tour still runs as usual. In heavy rain or unsafe conditions, the trekking may be replaced with a boat trip around Lan Ha Bay.
11 Can I start the tour from Hanoi, Hai Phong?
Yes, we can arrange pick-up from Hanoi & Hai Phong. For this option: We will pick you up around 5h30 - 5h45 at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in Hai Phong city center.
12. Can we combine plankton tour together?
Yes. You can completly combine Cat Ba plankton tour in Day 1 (costs extra 40$/person). For this option: We will pick you up around 18h00 from your homestay in Viet Hai to do plankton tour. You will have dinner on cruise & be taken back to homestay around 20h30.
13. Can we do only treking tour or only kayaking tour?
